Hey what is that neat thing that tells you what PCs are up in the pic w/ the race car? That is super cool!
The information display is a thing called Conky. Here’s a nice beginners guide on setting up your own Conky.
The network display part is a script I wrote to ping IP addresses, and return a value for Conky. The script and HowTo can be found on this blog post.
